As of 31st August 2009 ITMU no longer write any new business or offer renewal terms on any account with an inception date after 31st August 2009.
ITMU have arranged with The Kiln Group to underwrite renewals to existing ITMU clients from Kiln’s London, Ipswich and International offices. ITMU underwriting and claims run-off management on behalf of Inter-Hannover will be transferred to Kiln as of 1st April 2010.
Kiln is a recognised leader in Marine Insurance and the ITMU portfolio will bring additional depth and diversity to Kiln’s portfolio.
